Every orchestra plays a self chosen composition and a compulsory piece. Works from known Swiss composers: Mario Bürki, Thomas Trachsel, Marco Nussbaumer, Franco Cesarini, Oliver Waespi and Jean-François Michel.

During the whole festival the most of the orchestra plays a free composed concert programme in the outdoor auditoriums, places in town as Münsterhof and in the centre of the festival in Oerlikon Zurich
